Product

What is Dockito?
A home for the docs you and your AI write. Publish a Markdown or HTML file from the app, the terminal or your AI, and it gets one short link that always shows its latest version, with History behind it.
Which files can I publish?
Markdown and HTML, up to 10 MB each. A new kind of file arrives only when it works fully: reading, writing, editing and working on it together. Spreadsheets are planned.
How are docs organised?
A workspace holds projects, a project holds folders two deep, and folders hold docs. Docs can also sit on their own in the workspace's Docs. More on projects and folders.
What happens when I publish the same file again?
The doc updates at the same link. History keeps the last few versions and any you choose to save, and you can restore one at any time. More on History.

AI & MCP

Does Dockito run its own AI?
No. You bring your own: Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or any tool that speaks MCP. Dockito stores, shows and versions what it writes, and never sends your docs to a model.
Which AI tools work with it?
Claude Code, Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, VS Code, Antigravity, Codex, Gemini CLI and any other MCP client. Most connect in a minute. Connect your AI.
What can my AI do in Dockito?
Publish and read docs, organise them into projects and folders, see and restore History, save versions and rename docs, only in the workspaces you allow. It can't delete docs or share them with people; those stay in the app.
Will my AI make my docs public?
Only when you ask it for a public link, and only for a new doc. Everything else it publishes is private. An existing doc is made public only from Share in the app.
Is there a CLI?
Yes: npx dockito@beta. It publishes files and keeps a folder in step with a project, for you, your agents and CI. Install the CLI.

Sharing

Who can see my docs?
New docs are private to your workspace. You can narrow a project, folder or doc to the people you pick, each able to edit, comment or view, or make a doc public so anyone with the link can view it. Sharing and access.
Can I share with people outside my workspace?
Today, with a public link. Sharing a doc with someone by email, to view or comment, is coming soon.
Can admins see everything?
The workspace owner sees everything. Admins see everything except what the owner keeps from them. Members can hide things only from other members.

Security & privacy

Do you train AI on my docs?
No. Dockito never sends your docs to an AI model, and we don't sell or share them.
How do I sign in?
With GitHub or Google. Dockito stores no passwords, and you can see and sign out every browser, CLI and AI tool in Account → Sessions and devices.
Can I get my docs out?
Yes. Download any doc, or any version in its History, as its original file. A full workspace export is coming.

Plans

Is Dockito free?
Yes, while it's in early access: 1 GB per workspace, files up to 10 MB, and you plus two collaborators. Plans and limits.
Do AI calls cost extra?
No. Your AI can publish and read as much as your plan's storage allows.
